Dr. John Whaley Supports Non-Profit Chiropractic
Watch Dr. John Whaley show his support for NPCO! After winning a monumental lawsuit, Dr. Whaley became the first licensed by examination Palmer graduate chiropractor in the State of Illinois. He then spent the majority of his career defending chiropractic in the political arena through newspapers, radio, and vigorous lobbying efforts. "I've been held at gunpoint twice, tied up in my office and burglarized 4 times but I'm still alive," he states. Having experienced first-hand the difficulties in promoting and ensuring the availability of chiropractic healthcare to the public, Dr. Whaley recognizes the importance of the vision and goals of NPCO in making chiropractic healthcare available to the poor around world. In addition, Dr. Whaley is excited that finally, in the City of Chicago where he has spent so much time speaking out about chiropractic, there is a chiropractic organization with a team of runners participating in the Chicago Marathon to represent the profession and message he has spent a majority of his life standing up for.
